Sales Activities for your Business This Festive Season.

Looking to increase sales during the festive season?

Here are things you can do to help your business boost its sales.

We know that the end of the year is a very important time for business owners, as it’s usually when they see the biggest sales boost of the year. With Christmas and New year approaching, we’ve put together a list of things you can do to help your business increase its sales during this festive season.

The motive of implementing a holiday sales strategy is to reward customers while tactfully indulging in self-promotion and brand awareness. The main idea is not to appear too cheery of your strategies; remain subtle and focus only on “giving” to customers to keep them loyal.

We have put together a list of strategies below for you to apply and make sales:

    1. Engage in end of year sales activities:

Social media is a powerful influencer. If you are an avid user of social media, you cannot deny the fact that it has every other kind of business landing page. Moreover, studies suggest that people who follow or “like” your social media links are, in fact, your personally hired yet cost-free brand ambassadors.

The first tactful strategy that any business must adopt for boosting sales and awareness during the holidays is to engage in a series of activities to entice customers such as discounts, sales, giveaways and free deliveries.

    2. Create a holiday-themed contest or giveaway.

You can use this as an opportunity to generate some positive buzz around your business, especially if you offer an attractive prize like a gift card or other item that would be useful for holiday shopping. There are numerous ideas that would keep customers involved; for instance, reveal a prize for the best and worst holiday picture submission with a themed clothing item worn as mandatory, or you can ask them to do a karaoke of Christmas song and send in the videos.

    3. Promote your brand by participating in social activities this period:

Participating in social responsibilities within your reach is a great way to shine positive light on your brand. In this way, you get to put your brand in front of new eyes while still creating positive impact.

    4. Team up with other businesses to create promotional campaigns:

Teaming up with other businesses can be an excellent way to get sales up this period. If XYZ business sells female clothes while your business focuses on shoes and bags, imagine if you teamed up to create social campaigns around a combo deal for your customers?

You also get on the radar of their customers and vice versa while boosting sales.
It is always a win-win situation.

    5. Give out freebies to customers:

Asides pushing and promoting on social media, you can use your Newsletter to constantly keep your customers aware of all the freebies and giveaways they are entitled to this season.

You can also  use it as an opportunity to share some of the things you are thankful for this year, talk about what makes your business special, and why people should choose you over the competition. This will help build trust with your audience and position yourself as a trustworthy business owner who cares about your community.

Christmas is a festive holiday filled with joy, excitement, and potential profit for small businesses. It is a time when customers are more eager to spend and more willing to try new things. You need to take advantage of this opportunity and make the most out of it. Do not miss out on opportunities to reward your loyal customers this holiday season.
